Деревья из книг — новшество аргентинских книгоиздателей.
Как сообщает издание Fast Company, аргентинское издательство Pequeno Editor начало выпуск необычных книг, из которых можно выращивать небольшие деревья жакаранды, распространенных в южном полушарии.
Для этого издатели разместили прямо в иллюстрациях к книге «Мой отец был в сельве» семена этого растения.
Таким образом, по прочтении данную книгу можно не ставить пылиться на полке, а посадить у себя во дворе.
Разумеется, за книгой нужно будет ухаживать и не забывать поливать, чтобы в конечном итоге она превратилась в дерево.
Издатели подчеркивают, что не нужно спешить закапывать книгу в землю.
Изначально нужно ее полить и оставить на солнечном месте до появления первых ростков жараканды.
Высадка осуществляется только после того, как семена пустят ростки.
Цель, которую издательство Pequeno Editor преследует с выпуском столь необычной книга достаточно проста и благая – напомнить людям из чего сделаны книги и хотя бы немного уменьшить ущерб от вырубки лесов в Южной Америке.
